The Global Insurance Senior Analyst position is a key role within the Integrated Travel Risk Management team, focusing on the management and operation of World Vision’s global insurance programs. The successful candidate will specialize in business travel accident, emergency medical, and evacuation coverages while supporting the annual insurance renewal process across all lines of coverage. Tasks and Key Responsibilities
- Insurance Program Management: Lead day-to-day operations for global insurance programs with emphasis on business travel accident, emergency medical, and evacuation coverages
- Data Analysis & Renewals: Compile and analyze exposure and claims data to support annual insurance renewals across multiple coverage lines
- Risk Assessment: Gather and analyze underwriting data from 2,000+ global locations for various insurance policies including General Liability, Property, and Directors & Officers coverage
- Information Management: Develop and maintain systems for tracking claims and creating dashboard reports
- Documentation & Training: Create reports, presentations, and training materials while maintaining the internal Global Insurance webpage
- Financial Coordination: Manage department finances including budgeting, forecasting, vendor payments, and premium allocations
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with colleagues to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies through analysis of incident reports and security data
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 2-3 years of relevant experience in risk management for a global organization, insurance carrier, or brokerage firm
- Professional designations such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management) or AIC (Associate in Claims) are preferred
- Insurance/risk management coursework and internships will be considered as relevant experience
Experience
- Working knowledge of business travel accident, out-of-country medical, and emergency evacuation insurance products
- Experience in travel risk management through insurance products or travel assistance services
- Technical experience in interpreting and applying insurance policy language to various scenarios
- International/global work experience is highly desirable
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Superior organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle high volumes of work through effective prioritization and project management

- For US-based positions, the salary range is $71,000 – $80,000 USD, based on labor market, experience, and geographic location
