🏢 BACKGROUND & JOB DESCRIPTION

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network, operating in over 170 countries and territories. UNDP works with governments, civil society, the private sector, and communities to design and implement solutions that address poverty, inequality, climate change, governance challenges, and crisis recovery.

To support the effective delivery of its development programmes, UNDP regularly recruits Project Analysts to strengthen programme implementation, monitoring, and coordination. The Project Analyst (2 Positions) roles are designed to provide analytical, technical, and operational support to project teams, ensuring that initiatives are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with UNDP policies and international best practices.

Project Analysts play a critical role in bridging strategy and implementation. They support planning processes, track project progress, analyze data, prepare reports, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with UNDP rules and donor requirements. These positions require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.

The roles are open to all applicants, making them accessible to both national and international professionals who meet the required qualifications. Depending on the duty station and contract modality, the positions may involve collaboration with government institutions, development partners, UN agencies, and implementing partners.
