Detailed Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination & Implementation

  • Lead day-to-day project activities in alignment with the work plan
  • Ensure timely delivery of child protection and livelihoods outcomes

  • Monitor progress against the logical framework and donor requirements

2. Financial & Grant Management

  • Oversee budget spending and financial reporting
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews (re-phasing, re-alignment as needed)
  • Ensure compliance with donor and Plan International regulations

3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Track project indicators and prepare donor reports
  • Work closely with the M&E team to assess program impact
  • Document success stories, challenges, and lessons learned

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Plan International, partners, and the donor
  • Represent the project in coordination meetings and working groups
  • Ensure community participation in program design and implementation

5. Risk Management & Safeguarding

  • Previous work with local partners and government stakeholders in Lebanon
