Tasks and Key Responsibilities
- Data Management and Analysis: Collect, clean, analyze, and archive vaccination and surveillance data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and completeness for public health decision-making
- Digital Tool Implementation: Support the implementation and optimization of digital health tools including eSurveillance, DHIS2, and EWARS across health districts
- Reporting and Documentation: Produce weekly and monthly reports on key indicators including vaccination coverage, performance metrics, and disease surveillance data for measles and yellow fever
- Program Support: Participate in formative supervision and performance evaluations of vaccination campaigns, providing data-driven insights for program improvement
- Vulnerable Populations: Monitor zero-dose and under-vaccinated children among refugee, nomadic, and host populations, supporting targeted vaccination strategies
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of catch-up plans and targeted vaccination campaigns based on comprehensive data analysis
- Knowledge Management: Document best practices and challenges encountered in intervention zones to inform future programming and stakeholder coordination
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Essential: First university degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, or related fields
- Desirable: Additional training in health data management or global health
- Institutional Recognition: Qualifications must be from institutions accredited in the World Higher Education Database (WHED)
Experience
- Essential: Minimum 2 years of experience in health data management, preferably in humanitarian contexts
